It may take some "getting used to" to play a real piano.
Anyway, congrats on the upgrade! Have fun.
Yes, KK told me her fingers feel tired much quicker with it, yet she likes it more and practises everyday.
HH thinks it's less fun comparing to the Roland since this real piano doesn't have those additional functions like choice of instruments and beat structures anymore...
KK sounds like she'll enjoy being a clasiscal pianist more, appreciating the timbre of the piano keys.
HH is an avant-garde who enjoys a rich mix of sound scape. You have a good blend of characters in your family.
This is already apparent since they're 3 months old. KK listened to Mozart to go asleep, while HH just couldn't, until we found out Madonna's music can get her asleep...
I think their genes in music come from... mmm.... me. When I was a kid, I followed my Dad's taste in Chinese opera and orchestral music (which I still listen from time to time in recent years), plus American oldies like Elvis Presley, Patti Page, Andy Williams, Carpenters... Then when I was a teenager, for a few years' time my eldest brother asked me to record a lot of classical music from RTHK Channel 5... Then when I can afford to buy my own tape cassettes, vinyl, and CDs, I have all kinds of rock'n roll, R&B, Broadway musicals, Cantopop, Japanese and world music. Then I came to church and I encountered hymns in all kinds of genres...
Thank and praise God for giving music to mankind!
